MUSIC SCORING
It is an instinct. Much like choosing the perfect accessory for an outfit, it needs to be just right. Years of editing at MTV have sharpened my intuition for music selection. Whether it's hip hop, rap, or classical music, this "gut feel" has been an invaluable asset in completing projects on time and within budget.
INVENTING ANNA (NETFLIX)

Version with my temp score
By the time I was asked to contribute, the temp scoring for this scene had already gone through numerous revisions—from pop and hip-hop to classical and jazz—without satisfying the showrunner. Trusting my instincts, I took a markedly different approach by introducing a drumline, and the showrunner loved my first attempt. It was approved for the composer to add his final, polished touch. Above, you can review my temp music, and below, you can listen to the finished, composed score.

ALL RISE (WB/CBS)
SEASON 2

Comedic Scoring
For Episodes 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15 of Season 2 of All Rise, a courtroom procedural, I was responsible for all temp scoring and selecting needle drops. This clip features a comedic scene I edited and scored, with minimal changes from the editor’s cut through final airing.
